The majority of IMES courses focus on economic analysis as well as the discussions of public policies and social development in Taiwan. Also, IMES offers three disciplinary tracks: Social Security and Welfare,
Economic Analysis and Policy Evaluation, and Environment and Resources, of which students are required to select at least one track (9 credits). Finally, all students must complete a thesis in their final year.
IMES program is a two-year master program with the study time limit 4 years plus 2-year withdrawal. Students can normally complete all their courses in one and half years while they can extend their studies to a maximum of four years to fulfill all the program requirements.
